New Benefit Majorette Cream Blush

Hey everyone!

Benefit just launched a new blush called the Majorette Blush, it is a cream to powder pink-peach blush.

On the Benefit website it is described as, "Pep, poise & popularity! Majorette is your cream-to-powder booster blush. Wear this peppy pink-peach shade alone or under your favorite blush for an instant “pep-up.”   It is a $28 cream to powder blush that is a pinkish peachy shade.

I don't have much more to say about this blush.  I personally probably won't be picking this blush up for a few reasons.  The first being that I have yet to master the art of cream blush so I just stick to powder.  The second being peachy shades aren't that flattering on my complexion and when I where blush it is a more natural light pink kind of flush.

Please let me know your thoughts on this product down below!

Hey everyone!
Stila has released four new limited edition eye shadow palettes.  These palettes are already available on the Ulta website(click here for link) and are part of the Fall 2014 Collection.

This is the description found on Ulta's website: "Stila Eyes Are The Windows to the body, mind, spirit and soul. This year, Stila celebrates 20 years of infinite style. Create endless looks with their "Eyes Are The Window" shadow palettes. Inspired by the spiritual notion that true beauty is revealed from within, each palette is curated with 12 luxurious eye shadows to illuminate your inner beauty. Encased in exquisite, jewlery-inspired compacts - a precious mix of rose, yellow and white golds - the shadows will inspire intrigue and delight. Each palette comes with a lookbook curated by Sarah Lucero, Stila's Global Executive Director of Creative Artistry."

I don't know much about these palettes yet but I will be informing you guys when I know more about them.  I do know that these palettes are $49 and seem to have twelve eye shadows in each one.  I have never tired any Stila products before but I defiantly am interested in getting one of these palettes.

Soul Palette (matte, shimmery neutrals)

Body Palette (shimmery jewel shades)

Spirit Palette (iconic Stila popular shades)

Makeup Collection 2014: Lipstick

Hey everyone!
Today I'm doing my second installment of my Makeup Collection 2014 series.  This post is all about lipsticks, not lip stains, lip gloss, or even lip pencils, just lipstick.  I mainly own drugstore lipsticks with the exception of one high end lipstick sample. I will include all the pictures and swatches at the end, along with links though out the post.  Lets get started!

Milani Color Statement Lipstick in 17 Plumrose, 42 Rose Femme, 43 Pretty Natural, and 26 Nude Creme
Over the last few months Milani lipsticks have become my favorite drugstore lipsticks.  They are around $6 and smell like watermelon.  They come in a variety of different finishes and the formula is great, it is not drying, feels great on your lips, and they have a great shade range of 36 colors.  That is probably the reason I already own four of them.
You can find these lipsticks at your local drugstore or on the Milani website which also tells you the finish of each lipstick (click here to see).

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in 450 Mauve Mania, 645 Red Revival, 935 Sin-A-Mon, and 955 Espresso Exposed
These lipsticks are pretty well know and loved by many beauty bloggers.  I haven't used them in a while (possibly due to my love affair with Milani Lipsticks) but from what I can remember the formula is good as well as the color payoff.  They smell a bit lick crayons which isn't as nice as the watermelon scent from Milani, thankfully I'm not to sensitive when it comes to smells.  They are ok lipsticks, I don't find myself reaching for them very often though.  There is a good color range and Maybelline is always coming out with new limited edition shades.  They are relatively inexpensive and you can find them anywhere that sells Maybelline (so basically everywhere). (click here to see)

Buxom Full Bodied Lipstick in Hooligan
I have a sample of this lipstick and I love it!  The formula is nice, not glittery but does have a sheen to it.  It is suppose to make your lips look bigger but without a plumper.  The color is a nice mauve plum and I really enjoy the sample.  The packaging seems to be a bit faulty, the lipstick rubs into the holder, if that makes any sense, creating lines in the side of it.  I don't know if all of them are like that or just mine but it's still worth buying.  They come in 12 shades and are $21 on the Sephora website (click here to see).

Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Color in 918D Cherry Bomb and 906D Wine Room
I can't say to much about these lipsticks because I haven't tried them enough or at all really.  They are a matte finish and very inexpensive.  If you are interested try and wait until there is a buy one get one half off sale or a buy one get one free sale.  I will do a review of them when I try them out more,  you can get them at any of your local drugstores that sell Wet N Wild (click here to see).

First Impression: Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm

Hey everyone!
So if you have seen my Urban Decay and Lush Haul on my youtube channel (link below and see previous post about the video) then you will know that I received a sample of the UD Naked Skin Beauty Balm in my order.

So for the full size of this product(1 oz) it is $34 and the travel size(0.50 oz) it's $14.  Now this is suppose to be a "universal shade" meaning that one shade will work for everyone.

I'm not going to go into all the claims of this product because it didn't work for me.  The color was way to dark for my skin(I have very fair skin) and looked orange on me.  Now I have heard many people complain about bb creams making them look orange but I have never really had a problem with that until now.  Maybe it's because this is the first high end bb cream I have tried.  The coverage wasn't bad from what I could tell but the color just didn't work at all.

So overall this product was a complete fail for me.  The color was to dark and looked orange.  Now just because I didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you.  But I will not be purchasing this bb cream.

If you have tried this bb cream please let me know what you think of it in the comments down below!

Mac and Sephora Haul!

Hey everyone!  So I'm sorry that this post is going to be late but this week is my first week back to school and its been a bit hectic. So yeah sorry for the delay and I hope you enjoy this haul!

Mac Cosmetics:
So I just picked up a few things from Mac while I was at the mall.  The first thing I got were two eyeshadows called Shadowy Lady and Wedge.  Shadowy Lady is a nice matte dark purple color that is really pretty.  It is great to use as eyeliner or for a darker eye look.  The pictures I took of the shadow really don't should how pretty it is and the true color.  The other shadow I got, Wedge, is a matte medium brown and just a great color to use I'm your crease.  Again the picture doesn't do it justice.  The woman who did my makeup the first time I went into Mac used both of these colors and I wanted to pick them up.  Both the shadows I bought were pro palette pan refills and they are $10.

( I apologized for the bad picture, the lighting wasn't the best)

The next thing I got was the Pro Palette Large/Single.  I picked this up because I had bought two more pro palette pan refill shadows and I didn't want to keep buying the small palettes every time I went into Mac so I decided to just buy a palette.  The I also picked up the Pro Palette Eye Shadow x15(insert) to put in the palette.  The Pro Palette Large/Single was $8 and the Pro Palette Eye Shadow insert was $2.

Sephora:
So I really went into Sephora to get the Benefit Real Birthday Turn Ons free birthday gift.  Now it isn't my birthday I just accidentally put the wrong birthday in  when I was signing up for the Sephora Beauty Insider Card online.  But I decided to pick the free gift up anyways because it had two samples of products that have wanted to try for a while now.
There are two small sample size products in this gift.  The first thing is the Watt's Up Hightlighter.  This highlighter is in a stick form and the full size packaging and the sample's packaging are both really cute. It is a nice seer champagne color and is perfect for cheeks, brow bones, or where ever else you want to highlight.  I think this color really complements my fair ski tone and so far I really like it but I want to use it a but more before telling you guys my final opinion.

The other thing in the set is the Benefit They're Real Mascara.  Now I haven't tried this product yet but I am really excited to because I have heard so many wonderful things about this mascara and the brush looks really interesting.

Now the last thing I bought is the Benefit Gettin' Cheeky! Sampler.  Now this set includes three of the small tints from Benefit.
In this set there is Posie Tint lip and cheek tint which is a nice poppy-pink color. The next tint is Sun Beam which is a golden bronze highlighter.  The last tint is Cha Cha Tint which is personally my favorite and it is a mango-tinted lip and cheek tint.  Now I have only tried Posie and Cha Cha tint as lip tints but they have pretty much become my everyday lip colors lately.  Out of the two Cha Cha tint is my favorite mainly because it gives me a nice red orange colored lip and I love red lip colors.  Now when you first see these tints they are really scary looking because they are so bright but on the lips they look really different.  I don't want to talk about them to much but if you want to see a review on them, like this post and tell me in the comments below.

The other tint in the set is Sun Beam which is a golden bronze highlighter and I have only used it once and I think it might be a bit to dark for me.  I have really fair skin so the golden bronze color might not work that well for me but I'm going to keep trying to see what I think about it.  I think that this would look really good on some who has a darker skin tone or just a nice tan.

So overall I am really happy with my purchases.  I am really excited about the Benefit products because this is my first time trying that brand.  I hope you all enjoyed this post and I apologize again for posting it so late.  Feel free to leave any questions or comments you have down below in the comments
