NEW Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection l Ulta Exclusive

Hey everyone!
Real Techniques have just released their newest line of brushes, The Bold Metals Collection, at Ulta.  These new brushes retail from $15.99 to $25.99!  A HUGE difference from the prices of the brushes in the regular line.  This collection includes seven brushes and are exclusive to Ulta.

Apparently the different colored brushes are suppose to correspond to a different step in the makeup application process; Gold = Base, Platinum = Eye, and Rose Gold = Finish.

This collection includes:

• Triangle Foundation Brush 101 - $23.99
• Arched Powder Brush 100 - $25.99
• Oval Shadow Brush 200 - $15.99
• Angled Liner Brush 202 - $15.99
• Pointed Crease Brush 201 - $15.99

To me these brushes are way to expensive for a drugstore brand brushes.  Though the flat contour is something I am interested in, I don't know if I would buy it because of the price.  Maybe if there was a Buy One Get One 50% off sale, but even then it's pricey and makes me cringe a bit.

Review: Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick

Hey everyone!
I already uploaded a review of this product on my YouTube channel (video will be somewhere in post), so check that out if you haven't already.  

• Pigmentation: The lipsticks are highly pigmented and have great color payoff.
• Texture: They are very creamy and glide on smoothly, unlike other matte lipsticks they don't tug on the lips and aren't drying.
• Wear Time: They have average wear time, good staying power.  I tend to get lazy at school and not touch up my lipstick.
• Shade Range: 10 shades in the line; two nudes, some pinks, a fuschia, a magenta, a coral, reds, and a wine color.  All in all a decent shade range.
• Finish: Matte
• Price: $5.49 at Target and $7.99 at Ulta.
• Availability: Target, Ulta, and any other local drugstore (ei.Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, etc.)
• Overall: I really like them and definitely recommend!

New NARS NARSissist Palettes l Spring 2015

Hey everyone!
NARS is coming out with two brand new NARSissit Palettes as part of their Spring 2015 Collection.

There will be an eyeshadow palette which will be available January 1st on the NARS website, Sephora's website, and Sephora stores.  It will be available at other department stores on February 1st,

The blush, contour, and lip palette will be available at Sephora on February 1st and on the NARS website and in NARS stores March 15th.

This collection includes:

• NARSissist Blush, Contour, and Lip Palette ($59)

      This palette includes: Enrapture Blush, Enthralled Blush, Roman Holiday Blush, Albatross Highlighting Blush, Laguna Bronzing Powder, and Istria Lip Gloss.

NEW L'Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray

Hey everyone!
If you didn't know already, L'Oreal has come out with a new makeup setting spray.  Now this isn't actually the first setting spray to come from a drugstore brand (NYX and e.l.f.) but it is exciting.

According to the L'Oreal website the setting spray is $16.99, which is up there in price when it comes to the drugstore.  The description on the website says, "Keep your makeup looking fresh hours after application: no melting, fading or touch-ups necessary. This lightweight, oil free setting spray locks in your total makeup look, Face, Eyes, and Lips, preventing color from smudging or settling into fine lines for all-day staying power."

It claims to, "lock in makeup for a 'just applied' makeup look all day," and to have a, "lightweight mist, barely there feel."  There is also a link to a $1 off coupon on the site(which I have linked below) but you are still shelling out at least $16 on this product.

I am on the fence about this product because of the price but maybe if I have a coupon and it is on sale I will pick it up and review it for you guys.  Let me know your thoughts in the comments, love it? hate it? over priced?
